A long travelling day.

We were lucky enough to have a final view of the midnight sun last night, a prelude to our long trip back south to Stockholm today.

Narvik station , the end of the “Arctic circle train line” was our starting point.

The first part of the trip took us through stunning Arctic scenery as we travelled to northern Sweden and our train change in Boden.

In Boden we boarded the overnight train to Stockholm.

Dinner in the buffet car was not bad. After some deliberation I avoided the reindeer wrap.

We arrive in Stockholm at 6.30am tomorrow.
