More fishy smells

A morning stroll from our apartment.

Along the quayside,

Past the docks and fish processing factories,

Over the bridge,

Past the sauna,

And the onwards to the drying racks where thousands of fish have been left to dry on wooden racks. The fish have been there since the winter and are now ready to be harvested. The smell was fairly overpowering. The dried naturally sea salted cod (torrefisk) is exported all over the world. You can buy it in the local supermarket. Mellany has vetoed my holiday souvenir suggestion.
